Thank you for your interest in facilitating at Pendulum Artist Retreat. We seek practitioners who embody our commitment to holistic wellness, indigenous wisdom, and sustainable practices. Our wellness programming serves as a bridge between artistic expression and personal transformation.

FAQs

  • We welcome practitioners across a spectrum of modalities that support our mission of holistic well-being, creative restoration, and sacred rest.

Our wellness and healing pillar includes two main spaces:

The Zen Den - our dedicated sanctuary space featuring:

    • Meditation and mindfulness sessions

    • Gentle movement practices

    • Sound healing

    • Breathwork

    • Restorative yoga

    • Guided relaxation

Active Wellness Spaces - including our movement studio and outdoor areas for:

    • Dynamic movement practices

    • Energy work

    • Bodywork

    • Ceremonial practices

    • Group workshops

    • Herbalism

    • Traditional healing arts

We particularly value practitioners who understand the balance between activity and rest, and who can support participants in both energetic expression and deep restoration.

  • Our wellness programming is built around the understanding that true creativity requires both active engagement and sacred rest. We weave artistic expression into healing practices and honor the need for quiet integration time. The Zen Den serves as our dedicated restoration space, while other wellness areas support more dynamic practices. This dual approach allows participants to find their own rhythm between activity and stillness.

  • Consider how your practice:

    • Supports the balance between creative expression and restoration

    • Creates safe, trauma-informed spaces for participants

    • Honors traditional or ancestral wisdom

    • Adapts to various participant needs

    • Contributes to the overall retreat experience

    • Aligns with either active wellness or restorative practices

    • Could potentially integrate with our Zen Den offerings

  • We offer various session formats:

    • 60-minute individual sessions

    • 90-minute group workshops

    • 120-minute ceremonial experiences

    • Ongoing Zen Den offerings (guided and unguided)

  • At Pendulum, we deeply value the transformative gifts our wellness practitioners bring to our community. While we're still finalizing the details of our Workshop Provider packages, we're committed to creating arrangements that honor your time, expertise, and contributions to the retreat. We understand that each practitioner brings unique offerings and needs, which is why we'll be crafting custom compensation packages for each selected facilitator.

For approved practitioners, we'll be offering significantly discounted Participation tickets, along with additional benefits and compensation based on your specific involvement. These custom arrangements will take into consideration factors such as number of sessions offered, your unique requirements, travel needs, and the overall scope of your contribution to Pendulum. We're actively designing packages that may include elements such as meals, dedicated support staff, and various accommodation options.

We also believe in supporting practitioners' broader business growth. While specific details are still being finalized, we're planning to welcome practitioners to accept tips, sell related products (such as books, artwork, or wellness items), and offer course enrollments to interested participants. Our intention is to create a space where you can both share your gifts and sustainably grow your practice. Once our Workshop Provider packages are finalized, we'll discuss all opportunities for additional revenue streams during the individual agreement process.

Note: If you have specific needs or questions about compensation, please include these in your application. We're committed to open dialogue and creating mutually beneficial arrangements that serve both our practitioners and the Pendulum community.

  • Our selection process includes:

    1. Application review by wellness curation team

    2. Virtual interview for selected candidates

    3. Certification verification

    4. Session planning and space allocation

    5. Orientation and integration into overall wellness schedule

Practitioners will be paired with appropriate spaces based on their modality, with specific consideration for whether offerings align with Zen Den restoration focus or more active wellness practices.
